The Community Housing (CoHo) project is an exciting project in the Medford Hillside, and will deliver the first new housing option offered to Tufts students in many years. The project includes various levels of renovations to existing 2- and 3- family wood framed houses, located on the dead ends streets that run between Curtis Street and Boston Ave. The houses will offer single occupancy bedrooms and shared kitchens, in the style of most off-campus student apartments. Project scope includes fire protection, accessible rooms, landscaping, and minor floorplan changes, all designed accommodate the needs of today’s Tufts student. The 14-building project will be carried out in three phases that will include 4-5 buildings per phase.
