This donor funded project will provide an entryway for all students into the broad network of Tufts Maker Spaces. The purpose of this facility is to provide space for users to perform fabrication, assembly, simulation and testing (FAST). Although the project is being spearheaded by the school of Engineering, the space is intended to be open and accessible to all students within the Tufts community. The project is being constructed in the basement of Robinson Hall, and scope includes new floors, walls, lighting, acoustical treatment, and furniture.
