Dorm Maintenance and Repair
The Facilities Department is responsible for:
- Building safety and security alarm systems
- Building systems: heating, ventilation, air conditioning, plumbing, electricity, lighting
- Repair of dorm room windows and doors, shades and closets
- Repairs to dorm kitchen and bathroom areas
- Painting
- Furniture and appliance repair
- Pest control
Custodial Services
All custodial services in the Posner Dorm are limited to the common areas (e.g., bathrooms, hallways, kitchens & lounge). Please call Facilities Services at 617-636-3535 with problems and/or issues.
Dorm Recycling
Tufts has a recycling program that is easy to use and will make significant changes to the amounts of trash generated on the Boston campus. Most paper, plastics, batteries and non-usable furniture and computer equipment can now be recycled. Check out Tufts Recycles! for detailed information.
