Project Manager – Ray Santangelo/Neil Patel
Construction Manager – Groom Construction
Construction Start – May 22, 2018
Construction Completion – August 15, 2018

The goal of this project is to identify under-utilized bedroom space on campus and add new beds, creating additional capacity for Tufts students to live on campus.  The rooms affected are typically oversized for the current occupancy, and can comfortably house an additional student while maintaining the same quality of life standards expected in all other rooms.  Construction includes minor relocations of walls or doors, and the addition of electrical outlets and data jacks.  A new, efficient bedroom furniture package will be installed in the rooms, helping to improve comfort for the students.  The project will be executed to varying degrees in Hodgdon, Harleston, Haskell, Metcalf, 32 Dearborn Street, and Hill Hall.  The work will include the addition of new bathrooms in Hodgdon and Harleston to accommodate the increased occupancy.
