In fiscal year 2019, the Office of Sustainability coordinated 26 large-scale zero-waste events, where they catered to thousands of participants with the help of over 60 student compost workers. Through all of these events, 358.5 bags of compost and 105 bags of recycling were collected. The amount of trash generated totaled to be less than the collection of recycling. A typical event may look like the Fletcher school orientation, where 60 bags of compost, 11 bags of recycling, and 13 bags of trash were collected. Look out for the zero-waste events in fiscal year 2020!
