Plastic Film Recycling Challenge

In September, Tufts entered the Trex Plastic Film Recycling Challenge with the goal of recycling over 500 pounds of plastic film in 6 months. We are happy to announce that the entire Tufts community collectively recycled 505 lbs. of plastic film from September to February!

To reward our efforts, Trex will be providing us with a bench made out of recycled plastic film. Thank you to everyone in the Tufts community who recycled plastic film over the past few months – let’s keep it up!
